"Your brother and Lord Emmitt are formidable." Perceon allowed her. "I would be lying if I told you I felt as confident as I did before."

"Well, I can taunt him again like sisters should," she grumbled. "He's had too much wine lately anyway, too many women he's spoken to instead of training. But he is handsome," she said about Wayland. "He made it through the first rounds at least and passed the water break." she looked to Percy and the Stormlanders. "And that's your brother?" She asked. "Yes, that's Perceon. He seemed to be quite cosy with the Durrandons. But then, here I am talking to the two of you." Melissa smiled. "Has Samael mentioned me at all? Your mother implied that he might have."

Sarissa grinned at her. "He has," she confided, as her little sister leaned in too.
"He definitely has," Arianna repeated for her sister. "We got I'm to confess it while he was in his cups one night; you know he barely drinks so when he does it's always worth the experience. He said he hoped you came back to Dorne and liked it so much you never left again," she winked.
Bethan nodded. "Good," she said. "Overconfidence can be your weakness," she laughed.

"I fully intend to make another visit, and perhaps I might be persuaded to stay. I would like to speak privately to Samael when I get the chance. Will you two help me arrange it? It's not seemly for a princess to go chasing after a potential suitor, but if Samael can be persuaded to come to me, I shall be happy to receive him." After all, she thought, since she must marry, the small liberties granted to Dornishwomen would make her life easier than marrying elsewhere.

"I regret nothing," Bethan assured him. "Not when it comes to you, anyway." Her maids titter behind her in amusement. The Stormlands and Reach are both acquitting themselves very well as Geralt is an absolute terror.
Sarissa nods. "Come on now, Melissa. Of course we will. Where would you like to meet?" she asked. "Somewhere quiet and private, perhaps one of our taverns, or maybe somewhere outside and open for conversations and wine?"

"No taverns," Melissa said. "I'm sick of all the trouble those places have caused since I came to the Riverlands. Somewhere outside would be pleasant. Would your brother agree to come to my father's camp?"

"Natural born talent," she said without a sign she was kidding. "The field is winnowing down," she noted. "Your brother can't hide behind all his fellow knights now," she joked.
Sarissa just looked amused at Melissa. "Samael would meet you in a stable if that is what it took. You're a real life princess," she said. "Nymeria reborn," she joked. "A foreign swordswoman come to Dorne after adventures."

"Don't worry yourself over my brother. On his day he is a match for anyone in single combat."

"A foreign swordswoman come to Dorne after adventures." "You know more about Nymeria than I do, but I would be happy to learn more. And to be better friends with your brother. I'm a princess, undeniably, but there aren't many like me. Most of my female kin he horrified if I proposed putting a sword in their hand." She smiled. "Perhaps Dorne is the one place I won't be thought eccentric."

Sarissa shrugged. "We like eccentric, so perhaps it merely won't be an insult," she said. The contest is getting out of hand as the men fall one by one. As Darius yields she curses and kicks the stands. "Damn!" she said. "I'm sure you'll love our brother. He's a good man," she assured her.

Bethan cursed as her brother and favorite lord yielded. "Curses," she said. "Seems you've won the day." The final four contestants begin their duel and she watched intently. "They're all very good!" she exclaimed.

Alyssa turns to one of her guards and instructs him to try to start a chant in the crowd for the mystery knight to reveal themselves.

The chant is swiftly taken up, but the knight stands there impassively, waiting for Queen Larissa and her daughters to grace him with the reward for winning. The elegant lady sends her daughter Asha out with the wreath and some servants to deliver the satchel of gold coins and other gifts, but the knight merely takes the gold and waves the rest away, marching off to try to leave the field.

"I have visited Dorne and the Westerlands and now the Riverlands but Dorne is my favourite of the three."

Geralt stood, dusting himself off, ears still ringing from the den of battle as he removed his helm.
"You kept your pledge to show me something new today, Lannister," he said, clasping Prince Willem on the shoulder.
His expression soured slightly, as the mystery knight attempted to abscond with the coin without unmasking.
"Reveal yourself, good ser, so that we may know who has bested us this day," he suggested, the tone of a gracious winner despite its insistence.

Breathing heavily, Willem looked after the unknown knight who had finally bested him. He said nothing as the man stalked off and wondered if he would be competing in the upcoming joust.
He turned to Geralt smiling. "Close, but not close enough. For both of us. You fought well as always." He looked again after the mystery knight. "Would be a good idea to keep an eye on him."
