Having found out which ship belonged to Harlaw, Abigail showed up the day after the feast. Thought moments ago she had been dressed in a concealing brown robe, she ditched it once she got to the ship. Underneath she was dressed in a pretty white dress, a white bow in her hair and white heels on her feet. One hand held out at her side she made her way up the gang plank, shoes click-clacking as she did. She smiled at the first Ironborn she came across. "I am here to sit at a proper Ironborn table," She suggested, giving off the most innocent air she could.

The sailor looked at her and nodded. "Did you?" He asked. "Well come up here then." He doesn't look particularly trustworthy.

Abigail gave a pretty smile in response and passed the man to walk onto the deck, looking around with obvious interest. "Ser Haradras has a fine looking ship, I must admit." She pouted a little. "A bit dirty perhaps."

"What the fuck? Ser?" The man laughed. "Is that a joke?" She doesn't seem to be making any friends here. "What the hell are you doing here? Captain Harlow ain't even here."

"My apologies," Abigail answered with a small curtsy. "I was merely using the title to honour your captain - from my perspective however." The tip of her tongue briefly stuck out from between her lips as she took the man in. "I spoke to your captain at the feast and he extended his invitation, so to speak. Said that if I wished an adventure I should come "sit at a real Ironborn table". So here I am."

The man laughed. "Did he? And you accepted?" He shrugged. "His cabin is down those stairs, right at the stern," he said. "He'll come back eventually."

"Of course I accepted. The Ironborn at the feast seemed almost demure in comparison to the stories I had been told." She looked down the stairs and frowned a little bit. "It's awfully dark down there." She held out a dainty hand to the man. "Be my guide, will you?" She asked, sounding both hopeful and expectant.

The man grunted and took her hand, then started down the dark steps to the hall. Abigail heard dozens of men below, playing games and drinking heavily, and she heard women laughing as they were paid to perform lewd acts she had never even heard of.

"Well it certainly sounds like people are having fun down here," Abigail said as they walked down the steps, wondering what sort of people had raucous gatherings like this in the middle of the day. "Where is your captain currently?"

"He is with his little sister," the man said, "she is quite ill, and a ship is no place for her." He sounds serious. "But yes, we enjoy ourselves here. Do you want some warm ale or sour wine?"

"How unfortunate," Abigail said, sounding genuinely empathetic. "I do hope she will recover soon. How old is the captain's sister? Oh and.... mhmmmm... I will take sour wine."

She is given some. It is horrible, but it has its...no it doesn't have any unique rustic appeal. It tastes like two homeless men fucking in a dumpster. "She is fifteen, my lady," he said, "and the apple of his eye. Their mother is long past, and so he was much like a parent to her."

"That is sad to hear," Abigail commented, wincing slightly at the sour wine she had been given but drinking it nevertheless. "So, what do you Ironborn do when you don't pillage and raid?" She asked, changing the subject.

"Mostly gamble," he said after a moment. "Lose everything we gained so we have a reason to go back to sea," he chuckled. "What do yo duo when you aren't sewing and...doing whatever it is you girls get up to?"

"Well," Abigail said, making sure to look as innocent as possible. "I mostly dress up as other people and sneak out to spy on whoever I choose." She added a small laugh that she hoped would make it hard to figure out if she was telling the truth.

"Do you now?" The man grunted. "Let's hear your commoner voice," he said.
"That's quite enough," a voice cut through as Haradras descended the stairs. "Lady Abigail is my invited guest and not your chance for entertainment. Nor," he looked about, any of your entertainments. Be gentlemen here." He smiled at her white clothing. "I feel you're trying to make a statement. The messages aren't so clear to us apostates."

Abigail was about to respond when she heard Haradras and turned about, smiling as she saw the man. She gave a curtsy but waved his words away. "No, dear Haradras - do not chastise your man on my behalf. He was kind enough to help me down the stairs and offer me a drink." She held the cup of wine up and turned to the man she had been speaking too. "Ah don't fink ya would like ta hear it all the time," she said in her best common voice. "It's quite annoying, no?" She giggled and looked back at Haradras. "But yes, I am making a statement."

"And what statement is that?" He asked. "Young maiden for sale - Sold?" He grinned. "Come on then," he opened up his cabin, and she saw it was comfortable if a bit spartan on furnishings, but filled with strange artifacts from places she's never heard of. "Welcome to home."
