House Targaryen rules Pentos and its surrounding lands, encroaching on Myr and the Disputed lands, eastward to Norvos, slowly expanding, village by village. They maintain a powerful battle fleet and colonies across the Stepstones, primarily focused at Torturer's Deep and Bloodstone, but they are largely friendly towards Westeros, hiring their mercenaries above any others due to their reliability in battle.
King Maegor Targaryen, The Grey Dragon (77): For fifty three years Maegor has ruled his family, a dangerous and energetic septuagenarian who is said to still wield a sword. The Grey has outlived three of his four legitimate children, but his bastards are spread far and wide, many carving out fiefs in the Stepstones in order to earn the old man's approval and partake of his largesse.
Aemelia Targaryen (51): The youngest of the four legitimate children, Princess Aemilia has grandchildren of her own, her hair silver from birth and now going white as milk. She is married to a Myrish nobleman who won her heart fighting for her father, and the gods are said to smile upon her life.
Prince Baelor (41): Eldest son to Maegor's deceased firstborn, Baelor is a strong and handsome man in his early forties. He is married to his cousin Aryanna and is the most frequently seen Targaryen in Westeros, hawking at the Arbor or Vale, negotiating for lumber in White Harbor, or discussing ship building in the great yards of the Iron Islands and Harrenhal. He wields the great Targaryen sword Blackfyre and his position as heir is both uncontested by his kin and welcomed by all Pentos's neighbors as a future time of stability and prosperity.
Viserys, Rhaena, Shiera Targaryen (19): The three headed dragons are triplets, Baelor's firstborn. Rhaena and Shiera are willful and disobedient princesses, rumored to have vanished on more than one occasion in vain efforts of joining the Sea Mermaids or some such group, but Viserys is a cold and calculating young man, much like his great grandfather the king.
Daemon Targaryen (32): Baelor's younger brother, Daemon is a warrior from tip to toe, invincible in single combat and a general who leads his armies with panache and verve, fighting often in the Westerosi style with his lance and cavalry. Fortunes have been offered to the young man for his services in the wars of Westeros and Essos but he has taken an offer only once, helping the Martells crush a burgeoning insurgency of their western houses. After slaying both the Sword of the Morning, Aurion Dayne, and both his sons when they dared take up his sword, he has been widely despised and feared across the common folk of Dorne.
Tytos Blackscale (44): A mercenary captain and lord of Torturer's Deep, Tytos is the son of King Maegor and a former princess of House Drumm, a vicious and brutal captain who serves his kin more out of fear than love.
