Personal History: Mychel was the first born of Lord Petyr Mallister and his first wife Argella Blackwood. Mallister was raised in the art of combat and raiding to befit a lord of the Isles and Rivers. He grew up as comfortable with the swaying of the ocean as he did on land and would often go out swimming in the cape of eagles. When Mychel was still a young lad his mother passed away from an illness that visited Seagard, this sad event sent his father on a depressed binge of increased drunken stupors and raiding to try and distract himself from his empty home. It was during these raidings that he met the Lady Blacktyde and the two of them quickly got caught up in the romance of fighting side by side. Petyr was soon married for the second time uniting the Iron Born house with the River house. It was through this turn of events that Mychel met his new brother Daeron Blacktyde. Through the marriage of their parents the two became fast friends and would often travel the seas together killing everything in sight. Once Petyr died and Mychel took the lordship that he was groomed for the two men continued their easy friendship of both houses and remained loyal and powerful raiders amidst the other lords of the Rivers and Isles.
