Combat rolls are determined by a combination of skills. A weapon score is the base skill modified by strength or agility and it competes against an opponent's weapon, armor and agility.
Weapons score +10% strength or agility depending on weapon vs Weapons score + armor +up to 10% agility
Weapons damage (L/M/H)
Unarmed: 5/10/20, heavy hits modified by 10% strength One hand weapons: 10/20/30 +10% strength Two hand weapons: 10/20/35 +10% strength for light hits, +15% strength for medium and heavy
Bows and crossbows and thrown weapons use agility for bonuses to rolls, and are opposed by either a flat skill of 100 or by an opposed weapon roll if the target has a shield.
Leather armor: +5 to defense against one handed weapons or unarmed Chain mail: +5 defense against all weapons Plate mail: +5 defense, -5 damage taken from all attack, reduces damage modifier from strength by 10%, does not combine with an agility bonus to defense Shield: +5 defense, may roll against ranged attacks as though it were melee

Stamina: Each round of fighting takes up 5 points of stamina. If stamina falls below 20 checks for every round are required or 5 points of no lethal damage will apply until you can rest. Sitting out a round of a battle or the like restores 10 stamina
