Westeros runs on gold and food, and lords and kingdoms will use those to create and raise armies and conduct building ventures, etc.

Resources:
Gold: 1 gold point is required for every 100 levies, 20 heavy foot, or 10 knights per month. Food: 1 food point will feed 100 people a month, or 50 knights with their mounts. Stone: 1 stone point can build a house or equivalent building. Wood: Ships require from 3-15 wood points. 1 Wood point can assist in building a trebuchet or scorpion Iron: 1 iron point will provide sufficient metal for 50 single hand weapons, 25 two hand weapons, 5 suits of chain mail, or two sets of plate.
Lords and monarchs will have a board for their kingdom's resources available. Income will be calculated twice an in game year based on trade agreements and events in game.

so I am confused. Are our current amounts, before or after we have spent things on our currently levels. So the gold in my board, is it for raising new ones, or do I have to pay the ones you said I have from that amount?
