For anyone who wants to ask questions about certain houses, anything about making a character, etc.

It's probably too soon to ask, but since the board is here already, let's get this out of the way.
Dragonstone would be under house Hoare, right? I've been thinking of a Hoare Prince, probably second son, ruling in Dragonstone and managing the Eastern Seas of the Empire. If anyone would like to play his brother, it could be cool to have some Euron/Victarion-like tension between the two.
This might be asking too much: but, in case this idea is approvable, would it be feasible for him to have Iron Proced his way into the possession of Celtigar's legendary Valyrian Axe?

Cool, then! No worries! I'll save that idea for other opportunity!

Ideally I'd like 10-12 players which would let us have PCs in each of the 4 kingdoms

Feel free to invite whoever wants to play. I'm making a skype group for game related chat.

Petition to let me be the only Arryn so I don't have to deal with these peasants.
((Also they look super fun in this setting.))

Bro and I are planning on being twin hedge knights. Of the utmost moral standards, of course.

Immoral. Amoral would mean they don't really understand what is right and wrong haha. Immoral means they made an active decision.

Everyone post a preferred kingdom here, don't let anyone else's choice influence you. I've got a good idea on how many people we'll have so I'm going to have some tough decisions to make.

Going to do West, Reach, and Isles and Rivers. All the kingdoms will border each other for maximum carnage

Righto. Well I'll go the King of Casterly Rock in that case.

No Monarchs, best one can do is Crown Prince.

That'll be OK too. Crown Prince it is. Too bad. I had a good concept for Dorne. I'll use that in some future game.

If this game goes well, Arc 2 will have the unused kingdoms so can switch then.

Dibs on Hand to the Iron King. Also, I'll either be a royal bastard or from one of the other IB houses. Possibly the heir, if no one grabs it before me, but dibs on Hand.

Immoral. Amoral would mean they don't really understand what is right and wrong haha. Immoral means they made an active decision. I always thought amoral meant they didn't care about right and wrong.

My 1st is probably going to be a Gardener princess. My 2nd will be a Hightower, ideally the lord's brother but possibly uncle.

Make that the Iron King's heir. I can live without being Hand if someone wants the gig.

Hey, not necessarily. My own advancement to power need not involve your brutal demise, though why rule out any good option.

Focus on character histories and such right now, I am changing some of the skill rules today and tomorrow using parts of systems I like

Brad and I discussed it. I'm actually the King's grandson/heir and Erik is my uncle, not to be confused with my dead twin named after the uncle.
