King Perceon IV Gardener was married to Queen Bethan Gardener (nee. Durrandon) on the fifth day of the third moon, year 200. The wedding, which occurred in the Starry Sept, was officiated by the High Septon and was attended by various members of House Durrandon, and the nobility of the Reach and the Stormlands. Prince Geralt Gardener and Princess Melissa Gardener were not in attendance.
After King Perceon and Queen Bethan were wed, they were crowned on the steps of the Starry Sept by the High Septon before their wedding guests, the citizens of Oldtown, and those visiting the city to watch the event. At the conclusion of the coronation, the Lords and Ladies of the Reach, now counting House Cafferen among their ranks, publicly delivered their oaths of fealty to the new King and Queen.
